Valentines, Hockey and NEWS!!

Okay I'm going to start things off with some GREAT news!! The Skatin' Utes are going to their first ACHA Regional Tournament occurring this upcoming weekend in San Jose, California! Yay, I tell Chris it's because when I date him I'm good luck, Brighton Hockey took state when we were together and now look at the Skatin' Utes! I wish you boys good luck, I know you will kick some booty! Valentines Day: So Chris was packed with homework on Valentines day so we decided to hang out but really celebrate it Sunday. We had a very great dinner made by Mama York!! It was steak (my favorite). I watched Water For Elephants while Chris wrote an essay. Even though we did our own thing, I had an amazing day and I wouldn't have wanted it to be any other way! For Valentines day Chris got me a stuffed Giraffe and a picture frame with us in it from the Colt Ford concert. I got Chris.. Well I can't tell cause it hasn't come yet but I will put pictures of it after he gets it. I'm so happy I have Chris and I got to be with him on the day of love.

Utes VS BYU: Well BYU came back for another round.... Let's just say we kicked some butt. It was a really fun game I sat with Maddie and Andy, yes Maddie.... I had a lot of fun though and she is a great girl. The score was 7-1, yeah sorry BYU.. Not really. It was a SOLD OUT game though. I have never been to such a packed game. I borrowed Chris' phone for the game and let's just say some funny things happened Bahahahahaha Oh Ex Girlfriends are a HOOT!! After the game Chris, Heidi, Ainsley, Andy and I went to Betos YUMMM.

 Mine and Chris' Valentines Day (Sunday): So Chris decided to take me to the Aquarium because I have been dying to see the cute Otter (SO in-love). We went and we had A BLAST! We got there just in time to see them feed the adorable penguins, I got to pet a Sting Ray, AND we got front row to watch the cute Otters play with each other, I want one! Chris really makes me feel like the most important person when I'm with him, I love it! After that we went back to his house for a VERY fun night. We had dinner with the family (including Lisa and Scott) I got to see my cute girls, Lauren and Kelly! They are so freakin cute and they love me so much. We played games and had drinks! It was such a great night. I love hanging out with Chris' family almost as much as I love hanging out with just him Tee hee!! Later that night we watched What's Your Number, I loved it! Chris know I love romance comedy and he always lets me watch it, cute I know!

NO SCHOOL!!: So Monday Chris didn't have school for once haha. So he decided he wanted to take me out to a movie, such a sweetheart. We decided to go see This Means War, another comedy/romance. It was really good and I liked it. After the movie we went back to his house and hung out with Mama York until everyone got home for dinner. After dinner we just went into the cave and hung out, well I watch TV/took a nap while he wrote an essay... We do that a lot but I like his company so doing anything is perfect with me! We spent pretty much the entire day together and it was amazing. 

Big Plans!!: So I have finally decided what I am doing with my life! I'm going to be a first grade teacher. Today I got everything figured out and I'm going to start school this summer for it!! I'm doing school during the summer to get me caught up on everything, yeah lame I know! I just want to get the ball rolling, so I will do what I need to do.

Heart Skipping Cute: I hope Chris doesn't get mad at me for this but I have to share. So I got on facebook and I saw a message from Chris saying "I have to tell you something....", I freaked out and thought it was bad and this is what he wrote me "I was going to come over after my meeting but then I figured I would come home and try and get some hw done so I could spend more time with you Wednesday and Thursday before I left and I honestly felt sick when I didn't come over. I got this bad butterfly feeling cuz I wasn't going to see you and I almost just had to. Never has happened with anyone else." Wow I know, I am SO lucky AHHHHHH. I just had to share that!!

A date in the past!

So I found a really old journal and it dates back to when I first started dating Chris (the first time). I have to read some of the entries!! I'm going to write it word for word... Just keep in mind I was 17 and silly haha :)
May 10, 2008: So much has happened in my life from Zac Bringhurst to Chris York. At the age 15 I finally had my first real relationship with Brian Ballard (ewww) from September 1, 2006 to sometime in March 2007, that's 6 months wasted.. Even though in away I believe it was a good first relationship cause it made me strong... And damaged me, but enough with Brian I really don't care about him sooo moving on to the next. After Brian I dated this kid Brandon Smith, he played for the Taylorsville hockey team. Then I had a thing with Henry Gates and a little thing with Shane Bowthorpe, who you will be hearing a lot. Then I went out with Mike Moffit for like 3 days haha I was a mess with guys and none of them caught my attention. THEN I met Chris York, who right away caught my attention, we started dating August 17, 2007. Chris and I have had a lot of problems in our relationship but over all we work together. I wish I could explain how much he means to me but it would fill the entire book. I will just kinda give you a brief... Well future me a brief haha. First I must say Chris is the most adorable kid, he isn't like anyone else I have ever met. He is so sweet to his family, he helps his mom out, he gets amazing grades and he plays hockey and he is SO amazing at it. I know he will go far, hockey is in his heart and he is so dedicated to it. Chris has the ALL time best personality, he is a dork and he just doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. He isn't one of those dumb fake kids that think they are better than everyone else when they SUCK haha. I know I can tell him anything and I can be myself around him, I don't have to hide who I am. He is really the only person that understands me and my weird ways. Chris is one of those kids that EVERY girl dreams about. I wish I could do a better job at showing him. I'm always thinking about Chris, I feel like a crazy person. I really do feel like I am the luckiest girl to be with the most amazing kid. Well that's about it. -Kenzie-
Anyways: I read that last night and it gave me the biggest smile! Now that we are back together not much is changed on how I feel about him. I also wrote a poem about him right before we broke up.... Please keep in mind this is SO old and I such at writing poems haha!!

HAHA: That was written two days before I broke up with him... God I am so glad I am back with him :) Going to the past is always fun.... Especially when you are back with that person!!

Falling Hard!!

So I have recently noticed I am falling hard for my boyfriend. The past month I have been living a dream, just being with him. I have never been treated so well and I've never been so happy. He treats me how any girl would ever want to be treated. He spends all his extra time with me and he brings me around his family all the time. I don't know if I will be with Chris forever but I do know I will try my hardest to be with him for as long as possible. I don't wanna run off and get married to the kid and rush into life but I do want to spend along time with him, really getting to know him. I wanna go do fun and crazy things with him and live life with him. He brings out the best me I can be, I never knew I could be this amazing of a person. He shows me what it's like to put my all in life. He isn't just my boyfriend he is my best friend. I love it because I can go to him for anything and not worry about what he will think of me after I talk to him about stuff. I trust him with my all, he hasn't givin me a reason not to trust him and I don't think he ever will. I am so lucky to have Chris in my life!! I truly want things to work this time around and something is telling me it will. I just wanted to share all this stuff haha. Thank you for everything Chris you are amazing!!

Finally Legal, 21st Birthday time :)

Alrighty so this last week was my big 21 and it's was a blast. My birthday was on Tuesday and I decided to do a party that weekend.
BIRTHDAY DINNER: For my birthday dinner we went to Hoppers Sports Bar. I was very excited to order my first drink, it was a Long Island from Ash and Joe. Later Megan and Beau got me another drink! I wanna say thanks to everyone who was able to make it, you made my birthday great! After dinner we went back to my house for drinks and such. It was a lot of fun but I was pretty sleepy so I ended up going in early!

GIFTS!!: Thanks everyone for all the amazing gifts!! Chris got me the best gifts he could possibly give me!! He got me a Giraffe Pillow Pet (I'm CRAZY about Giraffe's!) I sleep with it every night tee hee. He also got me a fishing pole, not just any fishing pole, but the Lady Ugly Stick (his same stick but PINK!! and it supports breast cancer YAY) and some fishin' accessories. It means a lot that he got me something that he loves to do and he wants to take me to do it with him. I love love my presents from Chris, I don't think he could have done any better. He amazing parents got me a cute card and a gift card to my favorite place, Cafe Rio!! Ash and Joe bought me drinks and also my Guinea Pig, who by the way has gotten SO big. My parents got me money and a new outfit to wear out on my birthday. My real dad got me money (one of the best things you could get a girl haha). Thanks for all the amazing gifts guys!

BIRTHDAY PARTY!!: Friday we had a hockey game against BYU so I went to that with Ash, Joe and Sarah. It was a very fun and funny game, we had a drunk girl pass out on our feet and then I got punched, yelled and the guy and then he HIT ON ME!! Crazy people haha.  After the game we headed over to Paul's for my birthday party! It was so much fun, a bunch of people showed up and everyone got along. It was good to see all of my very different friends getting along and doing stuff together. Overall my Birthday was great!! I can't wait for Chris to 21 so I can do more haha.

FISHIN': So my birthday stories are over but not my life stories haha. Sunday I went Ice Fishin' with Jim (Chris' dad), Aaron (Chris' brother) and Chris. We went up to Strawberry and it was a great fishin' day. Chris caught a pretty big fish 20 inches, he also finally out fished me!! I caught 4 and he caught 5, pretty proud of him. Hopefully he didn't get to use to it, cause I WILL NOT let it happen again :)

Never Been Better!

So I have a lot to tel you guys that read my oh so exciting blog haha. This month has been SO amazing and it's not even over. My birthday is tomorrow and I'm so excited to get all my friends together for dinner!! Anyways here is how my month has been:
January 6th: The Utes had a hockey game up in Logan against BYU. I went up with Chris and Jim (Chris' dad). We go there early and Jim and I went to eat. It's always nice spending some one on one time with Chris' parents. The Utes of course won 12-3, pretty boring game. Except when The BYU players started getting mad and one pushed Chris from behind and CHRIS got kicked out?!?! I was pretty upset as you could imagine haha.
Januray 7th: Chris had another game but this time it was all the way up in Ogden, joy. It was a pretty good game though with ending score 10-4 Utes WIN!! Before the game I went to Iggy's with Chris' parents, it was way fun. I love talking to his mom, when we start talking it always seems like our conversations go on and on, I LOVE IT :) :)
REUNITED: So Chris and I went to my friend Paul's for a party for Sam and Nick! I had so much freakin fun seeing all my friends again. It made me extremely happy that I'm finally at a safe happy place in life! It was great having Chris there with me as well. My life is finally good! I have never been this happy!!

CHRIS LEAVES: Chris left from Wednesday to Monday, it was a good break for us but I missed him like crazy!! While he was gone he played some amazing games!! With four wins they will come home happy :)
GIRLS WEEKEND!!: While Chris was away I had an amazing weekend with my cousin! It was so much fun to get out and do girlie things! On Saturday we went party hoping and just had a blast! On Sunday we had a lazy day and just hung out and talked about life. Monday we worked out and I finally went home.

 AHHH YEAH!

WELCOME HOME: Monday Chris came home and I was so happy to spend some time with him. I honestly do think that breaks like this in a relationship are always great. That week we hung out whenever we could between school and life!
Thursday: Once again another hockey game, not complaining haha. I went to this game with Brit and Brody, it was a lot of fun!! Chris lost this game :( 4-1 Colorado State.

PERFECT FRIDAY!!!!: I had such an amazing day Friday it's crazy!! Chris was even saying that was one of the best nights we have had together!! Chris had a game that day, at first I was really bugged that his ex was there but it hit me.... It doesn't matter I have Chris and we are happy so good for her that she is still supporting him. Chris made a beautiful goal that day!! They of course won Washington State 16-2 :) After the game Kourtney, Zach, Chris and I went to Chili's where surprise his ex was there. Chris said hey and then came and sat down. He told me that after he order he was going to go back over for a little. I got upset and he decided not to go.... I sat there for a second and decided I was being "That girl" and I didn't want to do that. I trust Chris and I know he cares about me. That's when I turned to him and said he should go say hey and it's totally fine. I think at that moment I finally hit the point in life where I'm not that high school girl that controls her boyfriend. Chris came back after 5 minutes and everything was perfect! I don't care about his ex or her friends, I'm happy they care so much about Chris haha. Chris was so cute that night.... He even told me that he has the prettiest girls in the stands at the games!! Such a sweetheart!!

SATURDAY!: I hung out with Chris most of Saturday it was so much fun. We went shopping with my family! My mom got me a birthday outfit and Chris got me a shirt. He truly makes me happy!!!! They played Washington State again and it was a long game haha. During the third period Chris made a goal looked for me and pointed showing me that goal was mine!! I was so happy to see that, I came home and bragged about it!! That night we went to a hockey party with the team. I made two amazing new friends, Ainsley and Heidi So much fun!!

SIMPLY PERFECT: Ah so I have to brag about Chris haha I can't help it!! He is so freakin amazing! We have never been better and I love it. We never fight, we talk about everything and we trust each other. We have been having really long nice talks lately. He has even noticed when I am having a hard time and he will talk to me about it and do everything he can to fix it. I have never been so happy with someone in my life! I hope things stay the same with him! I have a feeling they will. He says the sweetest things to me AHHH Sorry I'm bragging about how lucky I am, I just have to get it out :)

Ending and starting things off right!!

 FISHIN': I love that Chris loves to do outdoorsy things! Being outside is my favorite and to be able to do it with my boyfriend is awesome. Chris and I go fishing as much as we can and I love it. I have gotten pretty good.... I think I have even passed my teacher up :) I'm glad we got to go fishin one more time before the year ended.

BABYSITTING: Chris' nieces came over while Scott and Lisa went out and we helped watch them. They are so stinkin' cute. The both didn't want to go to bed unless Chris and I took them up to bed. I have so much fun playing with them. Chris has got to be the best uncle too! It's adorable :)

NEW YEARS EVE!!: New years eve was such a freakin blast! Chris came and got me early in the day and we went over to Scott and Lisa's (Chris' sister and brother-in-law) to watch the Utes game. The Utes game was a way fun game haha we had recorded it so we didn't have to watch the commercials. While it was recording we played ping pong and pool. When we went to finish the game it started to get really good. Well we there was about 30 seconds left in the game and it stopped recording. We wanted to finish it so we went over to Scott and Lisa's friends house just to finish the last part of the game! We even asked Scott if it would record overtime... He said yes hahaha. After the game the rest of the family came over and we ate an AMAZING dinner Scott made. Yes it was my favorite food STEAK!!! After dinner is when the laughing and games started. I got my New Years Kiss from Chris and it was perfect! I had a great start to the new year.

NEW YEARS DAY:  Chris and I decided to go shooting with Whitney and her man Cameron. It was a lot of fun haha Whitney makes me laugh she is a funny girl. I have a feeling we will be hanging out with them a lot!

CHANGE: So outta the blue I decided that I needed change and the thing I always go to in my hair haha so I cut it. I'm not sure if I like it or it it's just the change that throws me off.

MORE SHOOTING!!: On January second we went shooting again, this time with Mikey and McCall. It was so much fun! This time I got a little more risky with the guns after Chris forcing me. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Both McCall and I thought the same thing "That's huge, no way" but we finally kicked some butt haha. After Shooting we went and got dinner and went back to Chris' house to watch the Avs play and win YAY!!

 BEST DATE: So yesterday Chris took me on an amazing date. I'm so lucky to be dating a guy like Chris. The date started off with Mini Golfing. I'm horrible at Mini Golfing and I always hit my ball way to hard, Chris ended up helping me cheat haha. I even lost my ball in the water but barley got it back haha. After Mini Golf we went to see a movie. We picked Young Adult, we eneded up getting there early and no one else was there. We got bored so we played hide-and-seek in the movie theater!! It was so freakin fun and I won. On the ride home I was in an amazing mood so I played some 80's music and sang and danced for Chris.... Pretty sure he hates my singing but he puts up with it!

I'm so happy to start the year off with Chris and the amazing friends and family I have! This year I know is going to be full of many great memories! I hope everyone had a great end and start!! <3
